RibLoc Series 2000

Strengthened by Steel

Rib Loc Series 2000 drainage pipe and fittings combined all the desirable properties of smooth bore polyethylene pipe with the structural strength of steel. Embedded within the profiled wall of the pipe, the steel enables robust, lightweight pipes with high stiffness to be manufactured to suit your project needs.

Series 2000 pipe incorporates the following features to provide a cost effective pipping system that is easy to use and readily available in a wide range of diameters.

Features and Benefits

Light Weight

  • Engineered to be the lightest structural pipe available
  • No heavy lifting equipment required for small diameters, saving on time and cost

Strong

  • High stiffness pipe, reinforced with structural steel
  • Withstands traffic and earth loads
  • Ring stiffness remains constant for the life of the pipe due to its steel reinforcement

Easy to install

  • Long lengths, creating less joints and faster installation rates
  • Quick and easy to assemble spigot joint
  • Small diameters are able to be manually handled into the trench, saving time and cost
  • Easily cut to length on site

Flexible

  • Can withstand minor ground movement without damage
  • Some change in direction can be achieved without the need for fittings

Easy to handle and transport

  • Ability to sleeve pipes of different diameters within each other significantly reduces freight costs
  • Robust steel reinforced construction can withstand impact loads during handling

Durable

  • Chemically resistant, ideal for aggressive acid sulphate soils or saline groundwater conditions
  • Proven abrasion resistance of polyethylene, superior to most other pipe materials
  • UV stabilised polyethylene
  • Steel reinforcement fully encapsulated within polyethylene profile

Custom Fabrication

  • A range of standard fabricated fittings is available, including bends, reducers and tees
  • Pipe lengths, diameters and fittings can be customised to suit your project needs
