EFFECTIVE FIRE PROTECTION
BlazeStop is a proven performer in fire protection. Home fire sprinkler systems act quickly to put out fires which is why they are endorsed by the New Zealand Fire Service and the Building Research Association of New Zealand. BlazeStop is designed to New Zealand Standard NZS4517:2002 Fire Sprinkler Systems for Houses. It has a 50-year design life, so you can relax knowing BlazeStop will protect your home and family for many years to come.
INSTANT, ROOM-BY-ROOM RESPONSE
BlazeStop works by detecting and responding to heat. When temperatures in a room reach around 60˚C, BlazeStop sprinklers activate instantly and automatically.
Each sprinkler works as an independent unit. So a fire in one room will only activate the sprinkler in that room, leaving the rest of the house safe and dry. By containing and controlling the fire in a single room usually within three to five minutes you’ll have minimal fire and water damage to your belongings and your home.
WHAT MAKES IT SO AFFORDABLE?
Unlike traditional fire sprinklers, BlazeStop fits into any new or existing residential plumbing system you don’t have to pay for extensive new piping or a dedicated water supply.
Using all the advantages of leading-edge piping and hydraulic technology, BlazeStop is easy and cost-effective to install.
What’s more, it’s ideal for both new and existing houses. All you need is an Exel-accredited plumber and BlazeStop can be installed quickly and efficiently.
The price? It’s surprisingly low. Installing BlazeStop in an average three-bedroom home is likely to cost around $1,500*. Compare that with the price of household appliances like fridges and washing machines and the cost of replacing your precious belongings after a fire and you’ll appreciate that BlazeStop offers considerable value for money.
*Cost will be higher or lower depending on the location and complexity of the home.
LOOKS GOOD WHEREVER YOU WANT IT
BlazeStop is unobtrusive wherever it goes the sprinkler heads are designed for use in homes. You can choose to have them exposed or concealed and they come in a range of colours. All piping is also hidden from view, so your home continues to look just as it always has.
BlazeStop can be installed wherever you need it, and you only require one sprinkler in an average-sized room.
We recommend you install it in as many rooms as possible, including garages attached to the home.
For additional protection, you may like to install it in places such as the bathroom(s), conservatory, below-floor and ceiling areas and in unattached garages.
And they won’t damage your valuable property. The chance that the sprinklers are damaged by your home’s occupants, or they activate accidentally, is one in 16 million pretty good odds really!
